On our most recent seismic project, we were initially contracted to do the title research. Our client had already hired a seperate permitting crew. They brought in 5 permitters and a supervisor for 10 weeks and billed 7 days a week to the tune of over $150,000. When the dust settled, they had only permitted about 1000 acres and had really upset a lot of mineral owners. So our client requested we take over. We got the project back on schedule and saw it to completion without adding additional personnel, a blessing to our client's budget.
